How I see it, Xantis has a lot to do with why Eliatopians are the way they are, I mean the guy apparently has god dang satan magic that mindfvcks people, so... I could legit see him as the personification of hatred, so much that he would create an entire world in his image.
(probably a dumb notice but, Eliatopians ALL have the same hair colours, eye colours and skin, somewhat like his biologically altering attempt at reshaping the entire world in his image, with the individual look of the Eliatopians coming down to how they choose to dress, or how they style their hair, as opposed to the nameless government drones who all look the same and pretty much function the same way: see human, kill human).

I'm also one to say X-Podz was possibly not made by Xantis, and instead some other faction in all of this, to keep a percentage of the human population safe from whatever crazy shιτ cyclops hitler did in the timeskip.

And finally, monsters always existed on earth, they are the ANIMALS of earth, I mean, HH being a prequel or not that is how they are portrayed in Eliatopia. Natural enemies are very animalistic, not some evil monsters that pillage and plunder, but rather animals who are, like the humans, trying to survive a planet constantly hunting them down...totality, nice.
The enemies that look more monsterous are either genetically altered by the Eliatopian government as bio-weapons to kill more humans, or entirely mechanical. Logons are really the only ones who don't fit the role perfectly as they had been retconned from beings of magical gods into just- reincarnated trees, which doesn't really SERVE any morality beyond a nature zombie...or vampire, depends on how intelligent you consider a plant that died...yet again, they were revived...and have a SINGLE EYE...HMMMM, LORE CONFIRMEE???!?!?!??!? GAMING?!?!?

I didn't say the shroom people are eliatopians, I just said they are possibly sick of Eliatopian imperialism because it is the leading government of the planet. Grunts aren't exactly a unified group (or from what I'm getting at due to their lack of dialogue or structure, intelligent), and puffs have always been "monsters", even before Eliatopia they have been the larger, three eyed descendant of the yellow hairy evolution chain. The shrooms fall more amongst the lines of human than the puff because they simply share more human/renegade/eliatopian traits, such as speech, and the usage of tools, clearly in a more combative role (kinda like ants), but more human than monster nontheless. Also unlike HH, the eliapedia clearly allows for non-animal enemies, such as the eliatopian elite, so there you go, they're more human than monster.

Something I find horribly ignored is the more subtle lore present in the game, especially the nature factory. I'm here to basically spill the beans on yall dummies who choose to ignore it, cause it's some pretty interesting stuff.
Firstly, Eliatopia is Earth, genetically altered by the eliatopian government for some unspecified as of yet reason. Proof of this includes the abandoned gas station in templar, alongside the abandoned cars, which bear a 90s esque vehicle design compared to the futuristic, fatter electric cars present in places like Alion. Why is this proof? Well, in the nature factory, it is stated that they are altering the EARTH'S soil, said soil clearly being templar's, the least modern place in eliatopia, with this abandoned gas station being one if it's last human remnants.

The deeper one dwelves in eliatopia, the least natural the world is. More modern architecture, more advanced technology and generally less bumpkins lying around, AND WHAT IS THE NON-EARTHLY SOIL SHOWN??? THAT'S RIGHT, areas further on in the game, where less and less remnants of human civilization lie!

That's right, it was earth the whole time! Xpodz was a lie indeed! Now, that leaves us with the obvious question, why is Xantis such a space hitler? Well, he's a prick, but that leads into our next topic.
Eliatopians are simply corrupted humans, which we find out via Rekishi's library account in Alion. It's revealed there that, one, Renegades are offspring of Eliatopians and Humans, but also that Eliatopians themselves have hints of human dna present in them. Renegades are simply beings that gain back human characteristics, such as two eyes and brows, and red skin pigmentation. This begs the question, how and why did Eliatopians become...well, Eliatopians. To that I say I have no clue, but, next up I'd like to point out THE most underrated part of the nature factory.
The consciousness research facility harnesses human brains, and all bosses have human conscience deep within. This is infact very, VERY thoroughly touched upon in the factory (I'm serious, it's like ten minutes worth of reading with a lot of moral questions in there, watch: https://youtu.be/U3ZsV9mYngE for the voice clips btw), but essentially, it reveals that once the scientists in the nature factory added an embryo in the mix for the Cionic Organism, the being became MUCH more conscious and skilled in magic, and it refers to itself as Alex. Now, why would mixing a human embryo, in an organism controlled by a brain with satellites, make it able to do more human things, like state how it has been horribly mutilated, state it's name, and attack the people who made it WITH A FVCKING STAFF...GEE, wonder why.
Yeah, pretty clear to me by the extensive diary descriptions that all the brains in the consciousness research facility are human, a HORRIBLY GRIM thing too considering how Xantis having them used in less human-able bodies means they are unable to properly comprehend the destruction they are doing. Now, why Xantis is using them for genocide or making them VERY large, I have no idea, but considering his whole agenda, he probably enjoys the tragedy, like the evil mf he is. The only real explanation though, is that maybe he knows he will never be able to create proper artificial intelligence (with most of their robotic weapons being absolutely braindead, with just the scrap bot presenting a real challenge, AND EVEN THAT is due to sheer brutality rather than brains), and human brains are...WELL pretty much worthless to him, so...

Xantis is hiding something, and we are going to find out once we locate that dang secret house!. Thanks for reading, I really want people to actually give a shιτ about the lore because it's the one thing that is 100% leagues better than HH, which was literally just some ninja dudes bullying nubs with spawn balls. THIS is something I can actually sink my teeth into, ya know?
