Option to disable footsteps

Is there a specific footstep sound that you don't like? For example, the grass one? Wood surface, or metal sounding one?

Also, is it simply because it's too loud?

I find that the game sounds are incredibly loud in general, and some of them are just kinda irritating (mage forcefield, rage, things like that). I have to turn my pc volume down to basically nothing if I want to play with sounds on, but 95% of the time I don't even bother just because of the annoying sounds. Advanced sound options would be a MASSIVE QOL addition in the future, even if it is a lot of work for you, I think all players would appreciate it.

Hmm ok, gotcha. Just curious, was it always this way, or was there a point at which sounds got more loud/annoying? Just checking, because I did change some settings on sound effect in a recent update, and it could have possibly effected some volumes.

It's always been this way for me. I usually keep my computer volume on like 60-80 because I just adjust volume for games & music individually, but for elia I have to turn my pc volume down to like 5-10 lol.

All footsteps are just too loud. So yeah if you could add a setting feature to turn off footsteps and/or a sound slider that would be PERFECT
