Okay, get this, a thing I always found weird in HH and now in Eliatopia is how most helmet items, even relatively small hats, COMPLETELY hide your hair. This implies that, let's say a propeler cap, is able to hold inside long, lucious hair, like it's nothing. Yall ever wore a hat before? Nobody hides that much hair inside a propeler cap! I mean look at this, it's always been ridiculous:
No hat:
Hat:
This is a minor grudge, I know, but the complete disappearance of hair in a tiny hat like this as opposed to a helmet ONLY makes sense in a hairstyle with not much back end, like spiky or shaggy hair.
(Yes by the way I bought the propeler cap to make this thread...might do something special with it eventually though)

Re: Make long hair visible on small hats
Support maybe implement lil holes on top so the spiky hair can come out

Must be a JSON issue. I looked and, well, if "h" is marked as "true" on a hat/helmet, your hair will stick out.
Re: Make long hair visible on small hats
Yeah I guessed it was a simple code that turned the hair on or off, seeing as most eyewear does not hide the hair despite being helmet items (eyepatch, sunglasses, 69 lady mask etc). The only reason I see for a lot of smaller hats still turning the hair off is probably sprite clipping issues, which I don't know how one could possibly avoid unless unity has an in-editor sprite clipping feature.Flashlight237 wrote: ↑Fri Dec 03, 2021 1:29 amMust be a JSON issue. Would still like the concept of logical hair position to get looked at though.
