Confirm before aplying new stats
The "+" symbols are too close each other, it is very easy to mess up in a small monitor screen (or in a high resolution monitor too)
There should be a verify step before making changes on the stats.
Idea 1: You have to press a "are you sure?" "yes/no" before stats get changed, typical solution rpg games use.
A button to "apply" stats (A pop up message opens if the skill tab is being closed without the stats being saved yet, as a reminder "are you sure you want to close? changes won´t be saved").
Idea 2: The stats are able to be substracted for the while the UI of skill management is open (when closed, the stats are applied and won´t be able to be substracted). (Image altered, example, in this case the player has used points on archery and artillery, while the skill tab is open, the player can modify those stats).
I prefer Idea 2 over idea 1 but both could cohexist as a double check for stat management safely.

Support. It's the worst feeling to accidentally upgrade the wrong stat because the buttons are too close together, and this is a pretty simple solution for that.

Support, when I'm upgrading stats I always have to quadruple check that im pressing the right button

if you can subtract stats that would make the game broken bc you can be any class if you can subtract stuff and then a bug will appear and ppl get alot of stat points and then the game will break

You can only subtract them prior to confirming, and the stats would not apply to your character if you do not confirm. You can also only subtract the ones you received after your previous "confirm"
