2 is fine, you shouldn't be able to spawn them at every spawn spot in the area, and 5 would allow you to do that in most areas.

Agreed, plus the whole point of Storm Clouds is to spread them out; otherwise you wouldn't have a range of 28.3 feet with them.

I also agree with this. I seem to be doing just fine with my mage gear.
