game optimization

I don't have the best computer, but it runs other games pretty well, and eliatopia is probably the worst fps wise.

Image

I think this is kind of crazy. if you are on the game for over 10-15 minutes, the game's fps drops, music becomes distorted, key inputs are delayed, etc. It basically forces people to refresh the tab every 10 or so minutes.

my specs are Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-7400 CPU @ 3.00 GHz.

Archer Skill ideas

1. Homing arrows. if an arrow reaches a certain distance from the mob, the arrow follows the mob (each upgrade increases the distance needed to start homing to the mob). Would also be nice to have it toggleable, incase sometimes you don't want homing.

2. instant pickup. there is a chance that when a mob drops an item, it automatically goes into your inventory. upgrading increases the chances (would still make the pick-up sound so people know it went into affect).

Flower squishers

one of the new mobs, idk what they are called so I am gonna call em flower squishers, are VERY annoying to kill as archer. they stay in the air for a while, and they jump very frequently. you basically have to time whenever they land or else you wont be able to kill them, which can get annoying, especially for projectile classes.

visibility

since the new area got added, I think this is a good opportunity to suggest this. the trees are giant, and cover large spaces of the ground, some even covering enemy spawns so you can't tell where enemies are, or if they dropped something. it would be nice to see enemies, coins, your player, drops, other players, etc. through walls, and would make grinding become less of a hassle.

Thanks for the info. I will be trying to make some performance optimizations today, we'll see if it helps. Thanks for letting me know your processor, it is helpful. If you know your graphics card (or if you have an integrated one) let me know that too if you could. That plays a big role in performance. Also, what quality setting were you running on? The default (very high)? The other settings should help a fair amount.

The homing arrow is a good idea! I added it to the list of skills I have that I am slowly implementing. So I'm sure we'll see it added at some point.

I'll lower the jump height on the Rafflesias a little bit so they are a lil easier to hit.

Yea, some areas can be a little hard to see. I'll see if I can move some things around in the near future to make it easier to see.

Ok thanks for the info! I'll check into that video card tomorrow to see the exact specs.

Anyway today's update offered some performance boosts, let me know if you still have the same issues running it.
