1. Have you ever seen the Nature theme? Because if you had, you'd know just how integral flowers, which are hermaphroditic by the way, are in nature.
2. Okay, that last line suggests that you hate me. Have you ever seen the graphics of the latest games, both AAA and shovelware? Because in this day in age, people ONLY WANT PERFECT GRAPHICS. I would know, I've seen plenty of games on Youtube videos. Kingdom Hearts 3? They put all the time and effort to make their models clean, beautiful-looking, and it shows. Pokemon Sword and Shield? That got docked down hard in the graphics department because of muddied textures, Ocarina of TIme trees, and models that look like they came from 3DS games, which are last gen. All those shovelware games? Imperfect graphics all around are yet another reason why those games are considered the worst, and I've seen some shovelware game graphics unfavorably compared to those of PS2 and even PS1 games.
The same rules apply to games that are drawn like Cuphead. The linework in Cuphead, even though they're hand-drawn, are ridiculously clean. Yes, even HAND-DRAWN art needs to be clean and perfect to appeal to the gaming public. If you understood how THAT works, how the general gaming public is FIXATED towards CLEAN GRAPHICS, maybe you'd understand how I did things, and mind you, I draw things BY HAND before putting the work on digital. By extension, you'd appreciate my work more. But no. You want sloppy, which I've seen the general public IGNORE or even DESPISE. Do you know how that makes me feel? Like all the time I put into making each line look as clean as possible to appeal to the general audience's graphics expectations is being ridiculed. It's almost as if you don't WANT the game to look beautiful and clean and you want the game to look like shovelware. How would you like it if I treated your artwork the same way you're treating mine? That's right, you wouldn't. So do me a favor and learn how it feels to be in my shoes, the shoes of one who wants to appeal to the general public through clean linework, before you make any sort of judgment. I don't want you to go head-over-heels over anything, I really don't, I just want you to UNDERSTAND how I felt, to have to appeal to the general audience with cleanliness. Is that too hard to ask?
