Bugs (again!) and other issues

All weapons show defense as a stat. (This includes warrior, archer, and gunman weapons)

Jumping out of the water from here causes a quick change in the music while out of the water. (This is the area before the trailer park. The music changing thing happens from there and past it.)

I guess maybe intentional? You have to jump to get onto the bridge.

You can get out of bounds. Above the waterfall to the left. (There's also an area to the right that you can get out of bounds)

You start swimming if you walk up against the wall.

I'd assume those are supposed to be the other way around.

That doesn't seem like the right magical projectile.


The enemies at the start seem to randomly die?

Class related issues

Mage, archer, and gunman are all currently unplayable. The mage has 5 mp, which is the only way to damage enemies. The non magic attacks do 0 damage. Archer and gunman run out of ammo way too quickly to be able to afford more ammo. It also doesn't help that it is really hard to hit an enemy from the right or left.

Thanks for the feedback! I've got the defense display issue fixed, the bridge step issue fixed, the tree issue fixed, the waterfall issue fixed, and the pink box issue fixed. The enemies dying issue I'm not sure about, perhaps there was another player in the area killing them that wasn't showing up? I'll have to get some more feedback for that bug to see what the issue is.

I'll try and do something about the issue about the other classes on Monday as well. Thanks!

I can suggest a few things for those classes...

All Classes
  • Give Squishers Boxers (Worth $3 on resale); make the boxers more common than sticks. This should allow ammunition to be more affordable.
  • An ammunition salesperson in the first or second map of the game would be helpful.
Mage
  • Have mages start with 5 magic instead of 3. A damage output of 5 to 9 is needed to guarantee anyone is able to damage a Squisher. According to personal testing, a completely-depleted mage needs a magic stat of 5 in order to damage a Squisher with a Toy Wand
  • Have mages start with 15 MP just in case.
  • Extra precautionary measure: slightly increase cherry drop rates in squishers
Archer
  • Increase starting arrow count to 80. Arrows don't come in magazines of 3 unlike bullets.
Gunman
  • The thing where monsters drop arrows that they get hit with? Do that with bullets except have it to where monsters drop 1 magazine for every three shots they get hit with instead of 1 magazine for every two shots.

Flashlight, thanks for the elaborate suggestions! They sounded pretty good honestly. I've more-or-less implemented all you mentioned here, so the changes will be live in the next small patch. I made a few minor alteration to a couple of them, but their mostly the same. Thanks, I think they will help!
