Archer skills only work on archers/ bow users??

Someone has brought to my attention that the "Loot Thief" skill which is under the "Archer" genre only work on archers/bow users. Can multiple people confirm this please? I have it full and I have been getting constant runes and I do not believe it is "Dumb Luck" as the person stated. Please Help and Thank You!! <3

Well duh! OF course the archer skills are exclusive to archers; it's right there in the Archer Tree.
